Previsioni del Tempo WXSIM per Acquaviva delle Fonti


WxSim e' un sistema interattivo di modellazione atmosferica locale, creato da Tom J. Ehrensperger (Atlanta, Georgia, USA). Permette di effettuare previsioni amatoriali locali a breve termine basate sui seguenti dati:
- modello previsionale GFS, elaborato dall'Air Research Laboratory del NOAA alle ore 00Z, 06Z, 12Z e 18Z, e reso disponibile in Internet dopo circa 4 ore dalla sua elaborazione;
- condizioni meteo dalle stazioni METAR sottovento, italiane ed europee;
- condizioni meteo dalle varie boe sul mare;
- radiosondaggi RAOB dell'atmosfera tramite palloni sonda;
- condizioni rilevate dalla stazione (temperatura, umidita', vento e precipitazioni);
- caratteristiche meteorologiche e morfologiche locali;
- dati dall'atmosfera (Ozono) per le previsioni degli indici UV.
L'elaborazione di WxSim presso la stazione avviene in modo del tutto automatico 7 volte al giorno ogni circa 3 ore (05:30, 08:30, 11:30, 14:30, 17:30, 20:30, 23:30). Le previsioni elaborate vengono caricate sul sito 20 minuti dopo l'elaborazione (06:00, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, 21:00, 00:00). Gli orari in grassetto indicano le ore in cui avvengono gli aggiornamenti più consistenti delle previsioni (Varie emissioni GFS).
E inoltre, alle ore 02:00, viene avviato il programma Autolearn, che confronta le temperature che sono state previste con le temperature effettivamente rilevate dalla stazione meteo.
Eventuali errori di importazione dei dati di input scaricati da internet potrebbero impedire la corretta elaborazione all'orario previsto.
Per la natura stessa della previsioni meteo, l'accuratezza è maggiore fino a 3-4 giorni, con un'incertezza via via crescente a seguire.
